FOREIGN VOLUNTEERS IN THE
GERMAN ARMED FORCES 1939-45
This site is not politically motivated in any way - it is purely an information
site.
The site shows arm shields worn by foreign volunteers serving in the German armed forces. The volunteers came from as far
a field as Siberia, Arabia and
Norway.
To the best of my abilities the shields are all original some from veterans who served in the units.
The Freies Arabien and Freies Indien shields belonged to Kurt Krappe, Oberst Indien Legion.
